Again this week a quick update on my ItsGoodBusiness effort.

Well another week has gone by and our team is breaking even more records with our parent company. This business model is so solid and works so well that other industries are now starting to take notice.

Many of our team members have progressed quickly through the various compensation levels of our parent company, due to the ongoing efforts of the entire team. I have started pulling in some commissions.. It is such a refreshing change to not have to worry about converting leads into customers (we buy customers) and to only have to talk to people who are keen and excited to build a business. This is exciting! Not bad for just 30 days!

2) Using Guaranteed Signups to Build Your Business

Have you ever come across these ads promoting a "Guaranteed Signup' service? For parting with your money, you are guaranteed to have people sign up into your downline, no matter what business opportunity or MLM company you are promoting.

It all sounds good, but think about it for a second: how can anyone guarantee what another person will do? Sure, you may get people signed up in your downline, but will they do anything once they do sign up? Probably not, and here's why:

There are two basic ways in which these companies work:

1) They hire people and pay them 10 to 15 cents per signup. These 'signups' have no interest in doing anything more than entering their contact details into a signup form. These are not people who have any interest building a business.They probably do not have the financial resources either. They will simply sign up in your downline, trash all your emails, and forget about you.

One company I came across was offering 100 guaranteed signups for $80.00. If they are paying these signups at 10 cents per lead, that's a profit margin of about 85% or better on your order. No wonder there are so many of these guaranteed signups services out there!

The same company indicated that their guaranteed signups would be at least 90 days old or older by the time you got them. By that time they would have forgotten what they signed up for. Do you think these are people you will be able to do business with? I don't think so!

2) Other services will provide 'surveyed signups'.

These are people who have been given some incentive other than money to sign up, usually through some lead generation website where they have been asked some general questions and have been told they will be contacted by the business owner. You may get a few gems in this crowd, but its the same problem you run into when you purchase leads: 99% of them have no real interest, have forgotten they signed up, or are tired of hearing deals pitched at them. The result: lots of frustration for you and no real increase in your business.

Personally, I never have used one of these services. It all seemed like a scam to me.

I don't buy leads. I don't buy guaranteed signups. I buy customers.

Customers who purchase products on a regular basis. Customers who provide me with a stable and growing source of income while I concentrate on prospecting correctly for other serious business builders as part of a powerful prospecting team.

I don't waste my time cold calling, buying worthless leads, and certainly not on guaranteed signups.

service, people have to understand what it is, why they need it and
why they should get it from you.

A study of the keyword leads will lead to some insight into building a successful online business. Most people consider leads as something that has to be bought. The more expensive the lead, obviously, one would think the more chance of success that you will have in your online business. This is not necessarily true. The leads brokerage game is risky at best, as most people who fill out a lead capture page on the net, really do not even realize what they have done. Calling this type of lead is most often met with a certain distain. Hence the buying of leads needs to be closely scrutinized to be sure that people are interested in a particular product or service.

I like to consider a lead as some friend that I have not yet met. That person can be actually looking for some online project and perhaps they are interested in taking a look at what I am doing in my online business. It has been experience online that most people are very interesting to talk with and share views about this amazing process called internet marketing. I have also found that calling people ia actually a lot of fun. Most people are willing to be approached if you use the right techniques and strategies.

I do not believe in trying to sell that premium lead anything. If you are trying to sell something, and you consider your marketing plan as nothing more than a numbers game, you will be disappointed in your results. The bottom line in marketing is that relationship building takes precedence over selling. In using the techniques found in relationship marketing, you form a bond with the person over a period of time. You share ideas and thoughts about particular products and services online. Quite possibly, at some point in time, that person will want to know exactly what you are doing to achieve online success. Then, the path is clear on exactly how to approach the person with the opportunity you have with your online businesses. I love making new friends online, and building a relationship is paramount to building a lasting team.

Is that Guy a Friend or a Lead

In my years of doing marketing, I just hated approaching friends and family. They always thought you were a bit odd for thinking you could achieve any success, and what do you mean by trying to sell me soap...vitamins...or whatever my venture was at the time. Looking back on it all, I guess I did seem a bit odd, but I learned I quickly ran out of friends and family, and I needed to get myself in front of more people. As time progressed, the internet came along and we now build ourselves online businesses, but we still have the same problem of getting ourselves in front of more people. Some things change, and some things stay the same.

It has been my experience that basic problems never change, and we must overcome this one of getting ourselves and our product in front of people who are interested. I overcome this problem with my Veretekk lead generation system. I just happen to think it's the greatest thing since kool-aide. I have been working with this system for almost two years now and it never fails to amaze me at what it can do. Tom Prendergast and Mike Darling have worked for ten years just putting it all together, and it's like a living thing. I could write a whole post on the glories of Veretekk, but this one is on overcoming the problems of getting yourself in front of folks who want to hear what you have to say.

Have you ever had a salesman call you and immediately have them go into their sales pitch? How did it make you feel? As much as I love to talk, and as much as I love sales, I just hang up on them, or tell them I'm not interested. It's because they don't give a hoot about me, they just want to sell me something. Don't you think your premium leads, or those old worthless bought leads, feel the same way, if you just call them up, and immediately try to tell them about your wonderful program that will make them millionaires by next month. I think I have discovered a better way. Even with those old worthless, worn out leads that you paid good cash for,this will work better. It's called relationship marketing. It takes a little longer,but most good things do, but it will be so much more rewarding. Change your mind set!! This is not about selling something, it's about developing a relationship with those people you contact. If you can stop selling and start listening, and be interested in that lead as a person who is trying to accomplish the same thing you are, you will begin to hear they are having problems, and you may have the answer to help them.

Don't sell them, solve their problem for them. You know what? They are not going to listen to a thing you say until they get to know you! So, get to know them. When you make the first few calls to them, be interested in what they are doing and develope at least a working relationship. Find out what brought them into online marketing. How successful have they been?(Get ready for the lies) What kinds of problems have they overcome? What kinds of problems are they having at the moment? Let them tell you about their program and how it's working for them. This is called relationship marketing,because as you get to know this person, and they get to know you, you might be able to offer some solutions to their problem, and you can tell them about what you do. Isn't that easier than being hung up on?

Just Doing Good Business

When considering doing business online, the thoughts always cross one's mind. Can this company or merchant be trusted to fulfill his end of the transaction?

Of late, there are many cases of fraud, theft, identity theft, viruses, scams, etc. on the internet, that the individual online must consider if it is worth taking a risk.

All people desire personal freedom in obtaining what they need to be successful to their way of thinking. The internet has gotten a bad name because of the crooks, scam artists and thieves. But there is hope. There is hope in the fact that individuals can take a stand against these wrong doers. There is hope that individuals will only do business with reliable goods and services providers on the internet. There is hope that individuals can and will take back the internet and make it a safe and reliable and awesomely powerful way to conduct business.

Nowhere on this planet today are there more chances for the average person to be successful than on the internet. Home based businesses are being added by the millions. People are searching for a better way to live their life and have that freedom to make their own choices about how they wish to live.

The hope that their dreams will be fulfilled is the core of the small home based business owner. In other times, the dream of working 40 years and receiving the proverbial gold watch is passed. People want to live free and successfully now, because no one is guaranteed that in a split second or 100 years from now, that they will even be breathing!

Its time to live freely, successfully, abundantly and richly right now. The capability is there. The dream is alive. All is required is the putting together of the puzzle, opening one's creative mind...and most importantly...going to WORK!

For all individuals wishing success, the good news is...its already here!

Relationships Develop from Free Leads

I just got off the phone this morning with one of my free leads and he had signed up for a free silver system. He was so disheartened as he had paid quite a bit of money into some of these "You will be rich in 30 days" sites.

I felt so sorry for him. We have all been there. We got suckered by the scam artists and we wanted to believe it would really happen. Eventually, the truth hits us and we know we have been had, or else we begin to think there is something wrong with us. Why can't I make 10K a month? I've been doing this 60 days!

If we don't just give up and throw in the towel, we begin to look around for some folks who won't lie to us and will really care if we get some help. That is what happened for me when I found Veretekk. I had spent so much money on worthless leads and worthless companies, and I knew I was a sucker just waiting to get fleeced by the next internet guru. Veretekk taught me there is no "get rich quick". The Importance of Free Leads

If you have been marketing on the internet for any length of time, you already know that you have to have leads for your online business. I spent so much money for leads and got nothing for all my hard earned cash. It can be one of the most frustrating aspects of your business.

I found that most of the leads I was purchasing were old, worn out and weren't really targeted to the market I was trying to reach. I Added a New Business

I have added a new business to my incme flows. It is a business I have looked at many times, but not until a friend ask me did I look at it seriously. That goes to show the importance of relationship building in internet marketing. All the online ads I had seen on this particular business meant not a lot until a friend I trusted ask me to look at it. Once I seriously looked at it, this business is a winner!! I love the platform and all my leads I have generated using Veretekk will also get a chance to look at it. Over the months, some of these leads have become my friends. Things I'm Learning about Getting Leads

As I make this journey and surf the net, I am amazed at the amount of lies that are foisted upon the poor struggling new marketers. I'm sure, if you have been marketing any length of time, you are also aware and amazed.

I'm learning that lead generation is a very serious business, and there is nothing for free, and no, you cannot make millions while you sleep. The bottom line is, a legitimate business is hard work, lots of sacrifice, and requires education and a little spending of money to make some money.

In the last week, I have spent hours learning about back links, how to generate them, and what they can mean to your rankings in the search engines. I joined a wonderful linking site. It allows you to place all your urls on one site and then promote that site and all your sites will be linked together. Is that not a fabulous idea? Think of what that can mean to your backlinking. It can save you countless hours of work, and you can use it free or join for a small fee. I paid the fee because I intend to use this new find to help promote all my online businesses.

My online ads are pulling in almost one thousand hits a month now and I can thank the wonderful free teaching at Veretekk for that. I Learn Something New Everyday

I assume that is how we progress in the internet world...Just learn something new every day and try and implement it into our online business. Since I have such a huge learning curve, this is quite easy for me. Almost everything is a new skill for me. I think attitude is extremely important, so I look at it as a wonderful journey learning all these new skills.

I have done various types of work in my 56 yrs on this planet, but Internet marketing has to be the hardest. It's even more difficult than commodity broker and that is a tough gig if done correctly.

Everyone has told me I need a blog. Ok, so I got this blog. I will try and keep it updated with all pertinent going ons in the daily life of the little granny on the prairie.

I first want to talk about my newest venture into online marketing. I had the greatest joy in finding a fully automated marketing sysytem called Predator. It has only recently been introduced onto the market and I feel so blessed to have found it.
